Latest competition news

  • The start is next to the ski stadium in Jokkmokk. Take it easy to avoid accidents and broken poles. You will be skiing a very long way and for a very long time. Be considerate of each other.

  • The starting pens are: Elite, competition class for those skiing under 17 hours, competition class for those skiing over 17 hours, and the last group is the recreational class.

  • There are two entrances to the start, below Hotel Jokkmokk and at the ski stadium.

  • It is RIGHT-HAND TRAFFIC on the track. You will meet skiers who have been up in Njavve and turned around.

  • It is not double track all the way. In some places there is only one track.

  • There are slopes at Sågudden where you can go really fast. We will not be grooming the track there, so it is possible to plow down the slope. Take it easy!

  • Remember your headlamp and fill up on energy at the checkpoints.

SNOWMOBILE SERVICE TRACK

  • There is a service track for snowmobiles. Follow it.

  • The service track starts on the other side of the E45, beyond the Samelandsresor farm and office.

  • The service track runs a short distance from the competition track, but approximately every five kilometers there is a service point where you can reach the skier.

  • Anyone driving a snowmobile must be very careful to avoid accidents.

IF YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW FROM THE RACE

  • If you withdraw from the race, go to the nearest checkpoint and notify them. This is important so that we do not send out search parties.
